Welcome to the TideKeepers Project
TideKeepers is a growing initiative dedicated to placing tide-responsive sculptures along the shores of Cape Ann and neighboring coastal towns. It was born from a vision—first received during a solar eclipse—of a mermaid resting beneath the tide, revealed only when the sea pulls back. That first sculpture, Atlantis, The Tide Keeper, became both an anchor and a beginning.
Each TideKeepers sculpture is more than art—it is a portal. Rooted in bronze and myth, shaped by memory and moonlight, every piece interacts with the living sea. As tides rise and fall, the sculptures appear and disappear, reminding us of our own rhythms, our forgotten stories, and our sacred connection to the water.
This project invites you to pause. To witness. To remember.
Together, the sculptures will form a constellation of guardians—beacons of reverence, beauty, and belonging—woven across the coastline like pearls on a strand. Each one a whisper from the deep, calling us back to balance, wonder, and care.
